Cumberland Canteen is situated within Cherokee Marina on Old Hickory Lake. The establishment offers "Upscale, Down-Home Cookin'" and features multiple dining rooms, two bars, and an outdoor patio with sunset views over the water. The menu includes shareable appetizers, soups, salads, burgers, sandwiches, handmade pizzas, pastas, smoked-in-house BBQ, and decadent desserts. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are served, with some dishes available throughout the day. Notable items include a substantial French dip sandwich, the generously sized Dam Burrito, and the Canteen Burger accompanied by homemade fries.
